I am Catherine Hood and I am passionate about helping people to achieve their optimum health and well being so that they can enjoy a quality of life which everyone deserves.
The Bodicare clinic was a vision that I had when I first qualified in aromatherapy 20 years ago. It was to provide holistic treatments in a wonderful nurturing environment, with my focus being on giving the individual one to one support. Since then I have increased my skills and knowledge in a wide range of holistic therapies whilst running a treatment centre from my conservatory at home. However my recent training in colonic hydrotherapy (or colonic irrigation as it used to be known) has provided me with the opportunity to offer treatment from a brand new therapy room at home.
I am very excited about the benefits of the colonic hydrotherapy treatment itself but also the way it compliments the therapies I currently provide, particularly the weight loss detox programme and the nutritional advice and support. I do believe that good digestion and efficient elimination is crucial to feeling well and energised!
Personally I have spent much of my life being focused on weight loss and how to look and feel well. Whilst juggling commitments of family and career, and trying to achieve a standard of 150% in all areas of my life, as a result I have experienced the impact of negative stress resulting at times in physical and emotional collapse. All of these factors impact on our bodies and over a period of time will affect every body system but particularly the digestive and intestinal systems. If we do not digest and absorb nutrients properly and eliminate successfully, then our well being will suffer as result.
Colonic hydrotherapy and nutritional support will help to bring those systems back into full working order and as a result the other body systems will strengthen and improve.
I have seen a tremendous improvement in my health and well being since enjoying these treatments and for the first time in my life I am also enjoying reaching and maintaining an ideal weight for my body.
With the limitations of state provision as far as the health service goes, I feel very strongly that we all have responsibility for our own health and welfare and with the opportunities available at my clinic, I aim to help people achieve that.
am very excited about the brand new therapy room at my house and I feel confident that I am now able to provide a high quality of therapeutic treatments in a professional but relaxing and nurturing environment.
