Members of the Board of Governance of RICTAT serve in a voluntary capacity with no remuneration and give RICTAT their time, expertise and goodwill. They provide effective guidance and supervision of the management the activities of the organisation. Board members bring independent judgement to bear on issues of strategy, performance, resources and standard of conduct and act in the interest of the whole organisation.

Prior to becoming a colon hydrotherapist and colon hydrotherapy trainer, Ian was the curriculum manager for care health and childhood studies at a large college of further education. Ian is a Justice of the Peace, a BA(Hons) in teaching and education studies, Cert Ed, a degree in social work as well as a certificate in Criminology. Together with his wife Lynne, also an educator and a nurse, Ian own Wellsprings Holistic Clinic, Practitioner Supplies as well as Cleansingherbs.com. Ian has also been a prime instigator in trying to get all the colonic associations within the UK to work together. This will enable colon hydrotherapists to raise standards, as well as encourage therapists to be recognised by both the Department of Health and the general public as specialised and valued contributor to health and wellbeing. In addition to having a busy career and enjoying his grandchildren, Ian is also very much involved with charity work being a District Governor for Rotary International in 2005-06. |

Orley Moyal is a Doctor of Homeopathy and Nutrition and Training Consultant for Higher Nature. She became a Doctor of Homeopathy in South Africa, after completing a medically based, 6-year Masters Degree in Classical Homeopathy and Auxiliary Therapies (such as nutrition and herbs). Orley has been consulting in the UK for eight years, is a member of EMBODY and registered with the Complementary Therapists Association. She teaches in the College of Naturopathic Medicine and developes curricula for complementary medical practitioners. Orley brings to the RICTAT governing committee a wealth of educational experience and knowledge of legislation that regulates the sale of products and supplements. |

Kay is originally from South Africa with over 12 years experience in the health, wellness and fitness industry. She has been residing in Dubai for the past 10 years where she currently practices within an integrated medical center as a nutritionist, colon hydrotherapist and naturopathic wellness-screening consultant. Kay is very adept at working with both the emotional and physical factors relating to digestive and general wellness in addition to having strong referral systems with other medical specialists, personal trainers and alternative therapists. She takes pride in combining and teaching various techniques such as breathing and self massage in order to help her clients reach their goal of optimum health. Kay also serves as the consultant nutritionist for two different independent fitness companies in addition to writing for various fashion and health publications such as Grazia Middle East, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Aquarius Magazine, Gulf News and Emirates Women. Kay regularly speaks at wellness events and conferences in addition to co-hosting cooking classes with L’atelier des Chefs in Dubai as the nutrition specialist. Kay is one of the founding members if RICTAT. She is registered with a Medical License under Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and is the UAE Awareness Centre Ambassador for the GlobalProfessional Association for Colon Therapy (GPACT). |

Teresa has over 16 years experience in the health and fitness industry working as a freelance nutritional, colonic and sports therapist and is a member of the Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP) and International Register of Integrative Colon Therapists and Trainers (RICTAT). She has also worked as a lecturer and assessor for educational providers and private companies for over 18 years. Teresa’s particular area of interest is nutrition and pilates education and during the last five years she has been involved in developing her own health and therapy training company, to support the needs of individuals, groups and learners, with a goal of providing quality accredited courses that are flexible, informative and fun. In addition Teresa writes regular health, lifestyle and nutrition articles for fitness magazines and websites. She is an enthusiastic promoter of health, fitness and therapy and has witnessed how client’s lives are transformed through simple and achievable dietary, exercise, lifestyle and detoxification plans. |
