I am deeply passionate about the therapies I offer and I am committed to sincerity and integrity. My life experiences have made me compassionate and understanding of the connection between physical and emotional wellbeing. I believe the two cannot be separated, and so I totally subscribe to a holistically based approach.
Having lost my brother and then my parents at a relatively young age, and nursing my mother while she was terminally ill with cancer, I grew early on to understand how fragile life can be – just like our bodies, and our relationships with other people. I developed a great respect for main stream medicine, the doctors, surgeons, nurses and care workers. Along with that, I also became more deeply involved with complementary therapies, as we searched for answers, for physical and mental relief and, ultimately, for ways of coping with grief. After Mum died, I felt a strong desire to find a way to work in this arena of helping people at all levels of physical and emotional depletion. I hope to be able to help to ‘ease the path’ for others through these therapies.
I am constantly learning more about the holistic approach and the connections between body, mind and spirit, and try to help guide people to a better understanding of these connections. As I grow and learn more about these fascinating subjects, I would ultimately like to work along with mainstream medicine in helping to close the presently perceived gap between them. I look forward to an opportunity to meet you!
