There’ s no greater thing than great health!
This has been brought home very strongly to me over the past 10 years with the deaths of friends and family members at too young an age, and my own health 'shock' which really took me by surprise.
One of the activities of daily living and basic nursing care requirements is quite simply, ‘elimination’. We all need to go.......and..... if you don’t, then you are quite simply, in a dilemma!
I love the work I do and where it has taken me in terms of development and learning and still continues to. Coming from a nursing background and working in the area of high dependency, bowel care and bowel management were an essential part of the care we gave to those unable to go to the toilet naturally as most of us do, and is a high priority for them.
It was a natural progression getting involved in colon hydrotherapy and one of the best things I have ever done. Friends had experienced colonic treatments and after having treatments myself, I wanted to know more. I took myself off to Scotland on a cleansing program which included colonics on a Libbe open system which I honestly did not feel so comfortable with. After researching more about the different systems, I knew I wanted to train as I instinctively knew this held an important key to health promotion.
My own father died of bowel cancer, and it still makes me question why there is millions to spend on drug company research yet hardly anything to spend on research into nutrition. Through nutrition, exercise and lifestyle so many illnesses are reversible. Our health is valuable and something that is worth while spending time on.
There has never been a time in history when this information is so essential when you look at the health statistics. There is no rocket science involved! High blood pressure can be reduced, cholesterol lowered and complete health transformations on many levels can be experienced.
The colon is one of the most neglected areas when discussing or researching new approaches to health and most people are completely unaware that colonics have been around for centuries. Elimination is as important as what we eat, and the bowel works optimally with good nourishment and support.
I have observed first hand along with other professionals that these treatments fill a far more precious role in health promotion than Colonics are given credit for. Since I trained with Galina I have seen clients wanting to lose weight, digestive problems too numerous to put, clients recuperating from illness, others who have undergone heart surgery or other illness's, simply wanting to de-stress. Then the largest percentage we see are the people with 'good old constipation'.
Many clients have always suggested we should run a type of retreat or centre where people could stay. Due to the inspiration and input of many elements, our clients their requests, friends and family the right circumstances presented itself. The result has been Buzz Detox Retreats.
I provide treatments at the venues and privately. I had been instrumental in advising and setting up colonic programs in various venues for other people and have now brought everything together in a format which we believe is accessible for everyone. Colon Hydrotherapy is essential and fundamental in my opinion for any type of detox, cleansing or wellness programme along with straight forward nutritional advice and a down to earth approach which people can understand.
Our Colon therapy treatments are part of our integrative Buzz Detox Retreats and are carried out by our fully qualified practitioner/trainer who is registered by RICTAT. If people have never experienced a treatment before they are astonished at how incredibly comfortable and how surprisingly unembarrassing these treatments are! Talks, advice and educational talks are given on on colon hydrotherapy, enemas, clismatics and other forms of cleansing and we dispel the myths on mucoid plaque with scientific based evidence. Most importantly we show you how to pass on the secret of sitting and going to the toilet correctly!
Ultimately I would dearly love to see colonics embraced completely and incorporated into mainstream medicine, and definitely see this often misunderstood exceptional health promotion tool included in future health development programmes, thousands of clients cannot be wrong.
